The exhibition in the PG Gallery in Melbourne, Australia is over. My work will stay in the gallery, so if you missed the show and would like to see the work, just ask in the gallery for it to be shown. New exhibitions will be in Museum Kranenburg in Bergen NH in the Netherlands. The first one is from 1-30 October when the KCB exists 75 years. The title of this jubilee exhibition is De Toekomst in Nu — the Future is Now, and I will be showing mezzotints and drawings of the Glacier Lagoons in Iceland. Then from 6 november – 31 december Grafiekgroep Bergen will exhibit in the KCB gallery in Kranenburg during the biennial GRAFIEK 22.
The International Mezzotint Festival, which was due in August 2022 in Ekaterinburg in Russia, has been cancelled.
ANDERS DAN ANDERS – kunstenaars in lockdown
During the lockdowns in the Netherlands in 2020 and 2021, many artists, free from commitments and the pressure of exhibitions, but with plenty of time, they felt liberated and started to make different work. This exhibition shows a selection of works made by artists of LKV de Ploegh during that period. I changed my garden house into a painting studio and made two new lockdown paintings. I also started to experiment with linocuts.

III NOVOSIBIRSK INTERNATIONAL TRIENNIAL OF CONTEMPORARY GRAPHIC ARTS
I was invited to be the Curator of the Dutch entry for this Triennial. I have chosen printmakers who reflect different aspects of the Netherlands: how, maybe as a result of living in this crowded country, some artists create a personal space for their figures where only they exist; how, on the other hand, there is also the wide, low country, with its endless horizons, rivers, skies, dunes and polders; and finally there are those artists (and I included myself here), who need to escape the denseness of the homeland and travel. Their images tell of other cultures and natures. The selected artists are: Hans Andringa, Bea van der Heijden, Marcelle Hanselaar, Elsbeth Cochius, Jadranka Njegovan, Siemen Dijkstra, Jan Naezer, Gea Karhof, Nan Mulder and Rolf Weijburg.
